"We are no longer the knights who say NEEP!"

"We are now the knights who say...icky ikcy ba gong zrooom zion zionum....!"

"You English Kaanniggits!"

Took me forever to figure out they were saying "knights"!

Yeah, saw it at my local World Markets. It's kind of like Pier 1 but with alcohol also! So both my wife and I are happy

"What's the matter Col. Sanders, chicken?"

That's what separates Mel from other film makers. He's not afraid to go way overboard to get the laugh. Just imagine naming a character so you can get a single punch line.

Also, Count DeMoney
That's not your grandfather

Count DeMoney is one of my favorites, along with "Jews In Space"!

I did find the Inquisition segment a bit weak and tacky, however.

spaceballs is one of the few movies i ever walked out on. 30 minutes in and i couldn't take any more. i've tried watching it a few times then and still can't. i like slapstick type comedies, just not this one.

The only movie I walked out on was Andy Warhol's "Frankenstein". I almost walked out of Ken Russell's "The Devils" right near the end.

Yeah, Jeff, but apparently you stuck around for all the scenes with the naked nuns...

Eeek...I was in the top-floor TV lounge at Danceteria once (1985)...they were showing continuous loops on all the monitors in the room: the graveyard acid scene from "Easy Rider", the Nun-torturing scene from "The Devils", and film of Hitler ranting at some giant rally...over and over and over...

That's just too much Western Civ at one sitting for me...
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...
