Blueburst sighting

Post by clearblue »

POTR has a photo of a 650C. Not much color variation from edge to center of the body.

Agreed, Dan, not much of a "burst" there. More of just a transparent blue.

The neck and headstock are more contrasty than the body. I think these will get better as RIC's painters get a handle on the color.

When does Rickenbacker usually announce the color of the year?

This year it was announced on January 19th or 20th.

I'm anxious to find out which color will be chosen for their 75th Anniversary.

Perhaps they may not have a COTY for next year, instead concentrating on some other special feature for their 75th anniversary?

I'm pretty sure they've decided on the special feature.

I am hoping for Lightshows available on all models. I would love a 381 lightshow (hum, that would be a 381-1 I think if I have their numbering system right) or a 351v63. That would be sweet!

Oops, I mean a 3811LS or a 351v63LS.

How about a bit of sanity?

Sorry , Paul....

What was I thinking? A 620/LS is much more realistic...I get carried away sometimes (insert smileyface thingy here)
