Where you been? We've been speculating all sorts of evil things.

Yeah. That would be Ronnie Caryl, with Gordon Smith on guitar, Brian Chatton on keyboards, and Phil on drums. I have their sole album, 'Ark 2' (1969), and while the music has not dated well, you can tell there's a Rick bass AND guitar in there. Check out 'Venus-Bringer Of Peace' for a 'nervous' Rick guitar solo, and 'In The Light Of Love' for an inconspicuous yet definite Rick bass tone.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Steve, Ken, Wints, Bob!

Well, went on a mini-tour with my father's band playing 250-1000 seater venues in the UK, they have a small but dedicated following. Didn't use any Rics unfortunately.

It was so rushed I had no time to wrap up my online stuff, etc.

Used two basses, Fender Precision Lyte and a Yamaha BB1100S (which is currently my fave. bass ever) :P

Now I'm back, I'll be after a new gal soon, namely a Blueboy 4003 or something.

Unless that RM1999 with my name on mystically appears. :P

Angry Stars, Phil.

Big in the late 70s/ early 80s.

I think we have a website!

I'll try and locate it.

Maybe it's me, but the picture looks like the front PU isn't there. Are those his fingers or the toaster?

Welcome back Henny!

I don't think he has any fingers on his right hand either. What could this all mean?
