Yeah, this was up before a couple weeks ago. At least this time he slips in the word "copy" but since it's wearing a RIC truss rod cover, he's libel to get crunched by RIC legal. Let's see how long it takes for this to disappear.

Horrible paint job. He had that on a few weeks ago and several of us e-mailed him that he should take off the truss rod cover and not claim that it was a Rickenbacker. He has since added the word "copy" to the description. It still would be infringement to leave the TRC on it. I, too, bet he hears from RIC legal soon.

Notice he didn't change the description, about it being made in 1970, and the parts are RIC, RIC, RIC. I think it is, well, I won't use bad language here...

It's up to $666 (Anyone remember the Exorcist?)

Why would anyone plunk that much dough on a ****** copy when you can have the real thing for just a few bucks more?

Sure looks like someone's shilling in that auction.

At least I hope so. I'd hate to think someone bought that junk when, like Tony said, the real deal wouldn't be much more.

No shills - I was just teasing the seller. I knew the auction would get pulled in a day or two.
