Looking for a case for a 360-12

Post by joem »

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum. I'm looking for a case for my '71 360-12. Does anyone know where I can get one besides Ed Roman's?

I'm not looking to pay the $200+ for a vintage case so a newer plastic will have to do unless anyone know of a place to get the vintage cases cheaper.

Thanks,

JoeM

Ebay. There's usually a case up every month or so. Just keep checking, when you get a moment. I've managed to pick up a vintage & new style case on Ebay in the last couple of months. Good Luck. Oh and welcome to the Forum!

Joe, tell us more about your '71 360/12. Don't seem to see many from the early '70s. 21 or 24 frets? Hi-gains or toasters? Color?

Hi Joe, I have a virtually brand new silver tolex 360 vintage case - a few small marks but never used. I'd be happy to offer it to you. You can reach me at [email protected].

Graham: thanks for the welcome and the tip.

John: It's either a '71 or '73. I have a letter from Rick from that time and I think it listed it as a '71. I think I did a serial search on Rick's site about a year ago and it may have given me '73.

I purchased it used in NYC back in '78. It's a bit of a freak, it has Hi-gain p'ups but has the older, slightly curved neck and checkerboard binding. It's Fireglo.

J.W. Thanks, I will contact you off forum.

Can we upload pics? If so I will take a few and post.
