Alembic, you dig?

They are truly great sounding basses with wonderful craftsmanship. I've been thinking about a Series 1 fretted or preferably fretless for a while. Just haven't found the right one yet.
They are so cheap second hand, right down to the basic models that go for around under a grand all the time. Great bang for your buck.
Makes you wonder why people buy one new. Major depreciation. Just like your new Bentley...
