Should have left it stock and sold it to buy what they really wanted. Someone did a great job of aligning the Bigsby before they started putting screw holes in that guitar. Didn't even need to look at the close-up to see how crooked it is. What a shame...

Kenny: I felt bad bidding against you on a ratty looking 330 JG the other day. As it turns out, somebody snaked me out by just a few bucks at the end. I love 330's and would like to find a cheap one (1970's to current production with chrome hardware). I'd like to use it as the basis of a Paul Weller project guitar. If I need to, I'll reduce the headstock shape before refinishing it to JG. Then I'll put Weller-style graphics on the guitar underneath clearcoat. I prize the slightly older guitars with black tolex cases. This one will probably go beyond what I'm willing to pay, since it's overseas and shipping is expensive. Sorry about the other day!

Hi Randy; I don't even remember that 330 JG! LOL

Thing about this one is, I like 'em beat up, and the Bigsby is probably cool. Plus it's a nice Pumpkinburst Fireglo.

Why would you change the headstock shape on this one? Isn't it already the smaller size?

All I'm saying is that if I won this one* I'd leave it just like it is. Image

* I guess I'd have to bid first. Plus, it'd be coming from England without a case...hmm...

Kenny: This one has the smaller headstock (just the way I like 'em), so I wouldn't change it. I'm really on the lookout for cheap 330 in an ugly color or cosmetically worn that I can refinish. I don't even bother looking at UK guitars, because the exchange rate plus shipping make everything too expensive for this Texan.

I want a good, clean fight.

No hitting below the belt.

Good luck and may the best man win...

Now, boys, go to your corners and come out swinging!

Paul: No fighting over this one. Kenny can have it if he wants it. No contest!

I'm bidding on it (only bid so far)!

I bid on the beat up JG 330 as well, went for a surprising amount of money. This one is in the UK & is close enough to pick it up if I won it. I've already got the bits & pieces to fix it up. I wouldn't refinish it either Kenny...it's a great FG.
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

hey... in the interest of full disclosure, I'm looking at this puppy too.

How much is 200 pounds in regular dead president greenbacks?
