New Japanese book out on 12-strings only...

Post by leftybass »

I saw a great picture book over the weekend at the Phila. show that was only on Rickenbacker 12-strings, and very similar to the hard to find Japanese book done a few years ago on all models; The new book has fantastic pics and the text is in Japanese..A few things of interest:

Matt Preble's Byrd 370/12

John Hall with a prototype 380/12'Laguna'(COOL)

A fold-out of the Suzi Arden 1963 360/12 next to a 360/12V64, and how one compares to the other...

Who else has seen this book??? I am working on getting a copy or two---is any body selling them here in the U.S.???

Perhaps Tuck Hersey can assist us in tracking down this publication. Tuck?
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Peter, I e-mailed Tuck over the weekend; in his reply I think he was referring the older, more comprehensive book that's now out of print. Hopefully, he'll still chime in--I haven't tried him back yet to clarify things.....
