Tell Me About the 460

Post by corey »

For a long while, I was never a fan of the look of the 400 series guitars (and I'm still not a fan of the bass body models), but I've grown to really like the look of the 460. I'm just wondering - what does this model sound like? Has anyone on here ever owned one?

Corey: The 460 (deluxe version of the model 450) sounds very much like the 620 model. It is the classic Rickenbacker sound and has a real nice neck. Believe it or not, one even gets used to the rather large and different looking (by today's standards) pickguard. My 1966 450/12 plays exceedingly well and the toasters produce one of the finest sounds on the planet.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
