Thanks to the great generosity of Jeff Thomas, I can finally put my '75 4001 fretless together! YAYY!! Image
I had thought about parting out that 4001 FL on ebay so many times since it is not easy to find an output jackplate.
Now I have to find it a nice pickguard, Pickguardian is still on vacation till the 16th.

Jeff, I can't thank you enough!!!
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

You're welcome Joey. I'm glad to have any part in getting an old Rick up and playing. Thanks for the good karma!

The forum is a good thing. Its helped me learn a lot about Ricks; how they're made, how to adjust them, how to care for them, playing bass, other brands, who to go to if you need something fixed, what strings are good on your Rick, what amps sound good with your Rick, and so much more! Plus you've got members here willing to re-wind your pickups and make you new pickguards, etc.

I had the old jackplate kicking around in a box, not doing me any good. I didn't realize that they were so hard to come by. I would have thought that with all the truss covers I see(presumably from junked guitars) on ebay that there would be jackplates as well.

Rock on!
Play what you love, love what you play!
