There's also this "carcass" floating about...

Looks to be in fair shape... time for a bit of someone's 'elbow grease'?
My first bass was a Rickenbacker...
My best bass is a Rickenbacker...
My last bass may very well be a Rickenbacker

It's up to 400 bucks with three days left. Seems a little steep? I have been outbid!

He can do it...(the 5 string that is...)
The problem with waiting is that you have to find one that is the same year...screw holes might not line up...stuff like that.

Well, I paid for it! Now to actually get it. It shouldn't take to long to get down to SoCal from Vancouver. I'll bring it to the SoCal confluence. I should have it stripped by then.

Well, I received it today and here are a couple of pix. I need help in making the pix smaller in Photoshop. These are taken at the highest resolution so it SHOULD be easy. By the way it IS Montezuma brown. Some schmoe painted the front black and that IS gray paint on the back! EEWWWW!

IS that an insert in the bridge cavity? It doesn;t look original. I do have higher res pix but need some Photoshop guru to tell me how to m,ake it smaller without only getting a chunk of the pix.

Well, not Montezuma Brown, but probably Autumnglo or Walnut at that vintage. Monte was only in 2003-2004 (stretching into 2005).
