Anyone in San Diego?

Post by ilan »

Modded Ric, SD pickups, no pics, local pickup only (no shipping), but... $85, reserve met! 21 hours left, and it doesn't show in a generic search because the seller misspelled it.

Been looking at that one all week. Was going to post it too tonight for the SCal locals. Leave it at the last minute as to hopefully keep that price low!

I e-mailed the seller of the cheap (for now) FG the second day after its posting about the serial number, but never got a reply.

I was wondering if it was a fake. No pictures, no reply about the serial number and the seller has no feedback.

I have emailed the seller to see when I can go get it.

Ah, but what if it really is a "Rickenbaker" and not a Rickenbacker?

Dilemmas, dilemmas...

Alan,

Kenny and I were on the phone this morning, watching the auction, and he had that same question... what if it really is a "Rickenbaker"? Which is why I bid less than I originally planned, and you ended up with the winning bid!

Picking this thing up tonight. I didn't bother to bring one of my amps along; I figure as long as it isn't in 2 or more pieces I'm taking it.
