Hey Joey,

It was great meeting you and your wife (and everyone else) at the confluence today.

Hey Guys !!! Boy what a super day for a confluence.I've never seen so many wonderful guitars. There were zillions of them. Tons of different basses of all model numbers and colors. So many different guitars that it took all day just to look them over. There was everything....lightshows,just about every special addition. There were 2 early F models and a later 60's F model.I think there was every 12 string Rick made model wise here today. But best of all the guys that brought them were a really great bunch of guys. The jamming sessions were special. There were some other special things that went on.I'll leave that for Gary or Joey(if you can get him away from the bass section). Thanks for such a wonderful day.I look forward to doing it again..:-)

I can't believe all the stuff I played today. (and I didn't have a chance to play everything) What a day!

I wish I had taken an inventory of all the Rics in that room - what a list that would be. Maybe we can recall it jointly tomorrow...

It was a pleasure to meet everyone who showed up at the confluence today. Everyone was so nice, it really makes me proud to be member of this forum. Image

we had 94 1/2 total guitars/basses there.
Here are some pics. I have more that I will post tomorrow. I will put larger, better res pics on my website within a few days. Enjoy these for now.

Thank you all for making it such a great experience, I'll see some of you guys again tomorrow. Unfortunately, Jim Glen did not make it back on Saturday. Hopefully he can attend again Sunday.
I wish all of you guys could be there.

Oh, and the half guitar brought by Kevin Donaker Ring:

OUCH...he didn't break it, he bought it like that at a very low price.

Great photos! I'm surrounded by Rickenbackers. That's a good thing.

In sheer inventory size, you had about 3 times what we had in Columbus earlier this year.

I was wondering what the 1/2 was!

What a great confluence by the look of things. Some very cool stuff, not to mention the CEO bringing a piece of wood that is a one off too!

I'm kicking myself this morning because I just realized that I have enough airline miles and hotel reward points, a trip to the confluence would cost me next to nothing. Looks like a great time is and/or was being had by all.

I have over a half million miles in my account. I just couldn’t get myself back on a plane for a weekend trip across country after spending 32 hours in the air just last week...

I love the fireglo finish on the acoustic Mr. Hall brought to the confluence. Won't that make a great looking acoustic bass!

It's probably just well I didn't go. I'm expecting a house full of Katrina refugees later this afternoon.
