Comstock Blue Boy

Post by rjs »

I bought this from a friend in Japan. It has a small crack in the finish on the top but is quite a beautiful guitar. Does anyone have any information on how many of these were made?

Robert: Without answering your question, we can safely say, not very many.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Are those neck inlays blue as well, or is that just a trick of the light?

Arggghhhh. Got my attention! Amazing...

Pretend it's not there?
Alternately, one of those trucker's friend stickers, a la Peter Buck's 360 JG, would be smashing.

Wow.... How old is it? Is that one of the original Blue Boy guitars from the '50's? How much did you pay for that, Robert?
