OK, once again, Im not much of a tech-head like most of you. So that being said, I was wondering, which has the most neck tension ?
EADG tuning ?
OR:
BEAD tuning ?
I was watching the YES "Songs from Tsongas" DVD, and was intrigued by Squier's B tuned Tobias. I realize that its extra long scale but was wondering about the tension.

The five string conversions are fine for some people but the tight string spacing makes it a nightmare for others......plus the 2 over 3 headstock just isn't appealing to me.
The BEAD tuning is a better solution (for me) since it is completely/easily reversible and I never ran into a situation where I didn't have enough strings/frets to make something work. I'm currently getting by with one of my Rics equipped with a Hipshot bass extender key and that seems like an even easier solution (for me) since I'm not dabbling with anything below a low D right now anyway.
Back to the question at hand......
