Brian, does not Vintage Guitar Magazine keep a date base of stolen equipment. I know they list items stolen in every issue. Perhaps someone here has access to that info.

My Cii would be brighter sounding, most likely from the toasters vs. the HB-1s.

Maybe I should get the German LK so that Cleveland could have one each one the west side and east side! Image

Maybe it's the mystery LK that turned up on Music-123 for $1800 retail back in February, and then disappeared. It supposedly went to Hawaii, but maybe that was just a vacation.

Jim....I believe Jared is the one that scored that LK from Music-123.

I suspected that too, but I don't think Jared's ever admitted it was him that got it !!!

I'd wonder if he would take a trade on my 4002?
Hmmm.

I just got an email back from the seller. He doesn't want to say what dealer he got it from but said he'll send the invoice with the LK when he ships to the buyer. He also didn't answer my request for clarifying the serial number and said he'd send me the specific pics I requested later today. I'll update ya'll if I get any further info.

BTW....I'm no longer high bidder but will wait until closer to the end for my final shot Image.

I was the one that pointed out the 4004lk on music123, at the time my credit card only had about $1500 left on the limit because of christmas. I will be kicking myself in the *** for life for that mistake.

John....I'm kicking myself for not being on the forum when you posted about it so I could have gotten the jump on Jared Image.

I emailed the seller asking for a few specific pics and haven't received them yet. It makes me a little nervous but maybe he is just busy. I never understand how people auction things off, especially a high priced item like this, and are slow answering questions or sending pics.....it just annoys me. Still no response on my request for clarification of the serial number.

Did anyone here receive any specific pics or info ?

It is oiled all over.....just like Lemmy himself Image !

It's tung oil and I just did a treatment to my LK and Ci last night actually. I thought it might maintain a "sticky" feel but it doesn't after it it buffed a few times a day over a few days. It sort of has a satin finish feel once the oil is all absorbed/wiped off. Love it!

Well both tung and linseed actually dry, they both give a beautiful depth to maple and walnut for that matter.
