Question For Howard

Howard,

As the loyal threadkiller and the lurker extrordinaire, I was wondering the significance of the nickname "Aitch."

This is such a great club.

I often feel jingle jangle and you are the backbone of cleverness, brilliant humor, and wordplay. But I have to admit the "Aitch" thing makes me feel a bit like an outsider.

Feel free to email me off the board

and let me in on the secret, but I can't be the only North American wondering...Let me in.

Howard,

Give me a break. I'm from Texas, and not a good example of the average Joe here. In short, I'm a bit slow...

I see the email address. But I'm trying to read something more. I'm going.."H"..."next letter is ..."I"..."O".."next letter is "P', that doesn't spell "AITCH." I keep thinking "itch" with an Austrailian accent.

"I've got an aitch to scraitch." But that doesn't seem to be it...

Is it a computer code only programers would know?

Where I'm from originally we drop our H's (Aitches) and awkwardly flatten our A's so Howard becomes "Owerd" Thankfully I never really did have that much of an accent.

So Aitch it is mate. Good on you. It suits you. I do loike Charly's version betta tho.
