Anyone have experience/opinion of the Lennon Casino Epiphone - the Revolution model in particular?
Thanks.

Hi Jerry,

I don't have a Revolution, but I own (3) Korean Casinos, a Korean Sorrento, and a Japanese Casino Elite. I recently sold a '66 Casino that I played for twenty years. In my opinion, the Korean guitars are a bargain, but often don't play well right out of the box. The electronics (pick-ups and switches) aren't great, so most people change them out. The Casino Elite is a totally different story. Mine was perfect as delivered. I'll go so far as to say it beat my '66 hands down. I honestly never thought I'd find any guitar that I liked better than the '66, but the Elite blew me away. They are very well built guitars. I got mine (a sunburst with rare factory Bigsby) for $800 on Ebay. The non-Bigsby Elites can be bought new from several dealers from $1100-1350. I'll probably pick-up a natural finish Elite and skip the Revolution myself.

Jerry, I have had both 1965 and Revolution Lennon Casinos. Everything about them is fantastic; finish, sound, playability, hardware, on and on. They are top-notched reissues of John's famous Casino and they live up to the billing all the way. The Elite sounds like a winner from Randy's description, so either one would be a great pick.

I own a ltd. 1965 Lennon Casino.

Plays and sounds equally superior to a real vintage 60's Casino.

It's a keeper!!!
