Mid-Atlantic Ric Fest- HEAD COUNT ONLY PLEASE...

Post by leftybass »

If you are planning to attend the fest, please post HERE on this thread an "I am" or similar; We would like to get a good idea of the number of you guys that are coming, it will help us in looking for ample space to accomodate all of the guitars. We want to plan accordingly so that everything will run smoothly, thank you.

It is possible that we may see over 100 instruments easily..is that COOL or what??Image

Chris Clayton(Pick of the Ricks) has plans to attend, and I'm sure he'll bring some great stuff you can take home with you if you wish.

Also, Kenny Howes will be in the area for the day but will be busy on Sat. evening, so if we can make it happen Kenny will hopefully be there too.

I will post for myself, Don Cooksey, John Williams, and David McLaughlin; that is four..... Take it away....

As I mentioned earlier, I'll definitely be there if I don't have to be in Chicago for business on 11/5. If we could get 100 guitars from all the attendees, that would be soooo cool.

Nine! Or is that 10, depending on Ron!? Maybe one or two others in my party.

I really wanna come. It is a long drive (200 miles, approx. four hours), so maybe i'll take a flight down? (I'm in New York City) I also don't have any cool instruments to bring. Hmm...

Did we get 100% confirmation on the Montpelier Arts Center in Laurel, MD? Are people staying overnight? What's the cost?

Anyone who is hoping to make it should really make a concerted effort to do so, these things are truly worth it.

I'll be there. John, if you want to hook up, we might pick up Andy O'Connor on the way... the more the merrier.

I just drove three hours each way to the Hamptons and back.. with good company and some decent tunes, it's not so bad...

Put me down for yes, but if I do have to be on travel on the date of the confluence, let me know how much the cost is per person for the day. I will gladly pay my share, even if I might not be able to attend. I think that's pretty fair, escpecially for an event like this. I just don't want to stick anyone with a higher tab if I initially commit and then back out.
