Restringing an Accent?
I just got my new Accent Vibrato in the mail and i'm trying to string it up with my 330. I just can't figure out what the correct way to do it is.
John: I like to fit the Accent parts together with the strings already in place in the tailpiece. The Accent 'spring' tends to hold the ball ends pretty well. I then run the strings into the tuners and gradually begin tightening them. It's best to tension the top and bottom strings first to hold the Accent straight.

I use two strips of masking tape to hold those sliding pieces in place so they don't scratch the varnish...
