How many guitars does Rick make a year?

Post by roadking »

Just curious. I know since Rick is a privately held company, information like this doesn't have to be made public. Also, anyone know how many employees they have? Does anyone have any ballpark figures?

I don't know how soon or when I will buy another Rickenbacker as I am very happy with the ones I have, so I don't worry about it. As long as they keep making guitars and basses, and keep the quality at a high level then that is fine with me..

WE made 40 instruments per day in 1974 , thiis number has gone up and down over the years ... Brian Carman told me that at one point production hit 150 a day in the 1980's .

So take an average of 50 per day , 5 days per week, 4 weeks per month times 12 ...that will give you some kind of an idea .
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!
