Freaking Ebay emails ME about a "suspicious email" I sent to the seller, reminding me that I shouldn't try to buy things or make an offer outside of Ebay. I replied that I was merely asking for the serial number of his fraudulent item, which was blatantly copied from another auction, then gave the numbers of both. Geez! Get the guy who is trying to scam!!

Here is one of his "auctions" that he sold previously:

Hey, he is cautious, only ships to China! I'm fairly certain the buyer of that item was from China. Well, of course that shipping policy only applies to the $2.60 items...he'll ship the $12,000 items anywhere, generous of him.
But, he is a man of discerning taste, as he seems to favor Rickenbackers:

Although occasionally he lets a Gibson slip in:

Shame he has to sell all these nice instruments because, as he says in the John Lennon model auction, "he needs the money". I guess those 10 sales of ????*????????+150??,???(??????) that yielded $2.60 each don't go a long way in China.

There has been a lot of bogus actions showing up on Ebay for musical instruments. Always check feedback - I've seen more than a dozen auctions for the same model item, all with sellers having 10 feedbacks, all from sellers. I was bidding on one item located notn too far from me (and had emailed requesting to pick it up in person), but the auction was shilled at the last minute by someone who had signed up that day. I got an email from the seller offering the item for $200 more than my maximum bid. I didn't even bother to respond telling him to... well, you can guess.
The funny thing was that an auction for the identical thing showed up before the first one ended. If it had been just one item that would have been one thing, but it was a package deal that included a custom case. Duh...
