Split pickguard conversion

Post by phlemmy »

as posted in a previous thread, i wanted to trade my white 4003 split pickguards for black. is anyone making a replacement pickguard that would work on the 4003 w/split pg without having to drill new holes?

Prolly Pickguardian would make you one. Send him his and he'll make an exact copy, just black.

I think Nate has it.You could also pull yours off and trace it,marking each of the screw holes on a sheet of sturdy paper that they might use as a template if you don't want to send yours off.
When mine was replaced that's how it was done since the bass was gigging at the time.

tony from pickguardian can help. thanks!

"I have two options for you. I have a template for a 2-piece and a 2 pc.-to-1 pc. conversion. With the 4003 2 pc.-to-1 pc. conversion, you end up using 2 less screws and the look, in my opinion, is much better."
