Steve, I do miss the looks and comments my 12s got back in the early 90s when they weren't as common as they are today, not that they're very common even now. Now that I've moved into my new house its time to get an original band together again. Tho' someday I'd love to play my 12 on "I am the Walrus".

I was thinking of keeping it, but I actually wish to sell for two reasons: 1.) I have too many things now, so I need to downsize, and 2.) I rarely use it, since I really feel that four strings are really enough for me.
It's too bad, since when I actually do dust it off to bring it out, I do have a good time making crazy sounds that drive anybody around me nuts! That part I will surely miss when it sells.

My band just started playing "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. I am doing the opening guitar part on the 12-string bass, it sounds HUGE. Everyone was amazed that it could cover the guitar and add that bottom end to it.
Rob, you're killing me!! Guys, don'e be afraid, try one of these out, then can your rhythm guitar player, you won't need him anymore. They are awesome.

No, not yet. I thought someone here might want it. Even though I was planning on taking it home from the music shop that I have it on consignment at, I chose to leave it there through the Christmas shopping season. If it doesn't sell there and then, I just might try to persuede the owner to trade it towards something. I see the store owner has another mid-1950's Premier combo amplifier just like mine there, in totally much better shape than mine. Or maybe I'll find something else in there to trade it for.
