Maybe Dane Wilder can make another fretless short scale from this.

Welcome to the forum, Jason!
No rules except the usual ebay rules. All is fair in what you bid on. Anyone else here will give it their best shot, if interetsed. We will all support you. This is a great group of guys! You will get detailed remarks on all basses -- more than you ever imagined by some pretty dang good veterans.
For a long time I believed that 3000/3001 (both of which I owned) were all autumnglo, however it appears that jetglo & fireglo were possible. We have seen too many. Good luck!

First off, I am now nervous about treading on other forum members toes when bidding on EBay, and I sincerely hope that I didn’t tread on Jason’s when bidding on this bass. I checked all the bidders’ profiles 10 minutes before the end of the auction and they were all German. The next closest bid was from a guy who already has a Ric bass, so I guess that wasn’t Jason.
Anyhow…… I just won this little baby. I want to use it with flats to play some fairly high speed (for me anyway) jazz. I would like quite a middy slightly Jaco esque kind of tone and am fairly sure this short scale number will do the business.
I realise that I will not be spoilt for choice when it comes to short scale flatwound strings, but are there any recommendations out there? Thanks
