Ken....does your other Cii have the neck pickup spaced the same or is it at the base of the neck?
If it is at the neck and has walnut wings on the headstock let me know.....maybe I can save you some Ebay fees Image.

The other 4004 is almost identical, the only difference between the two is this one[the one on ebay] is a little darker shade, none polished fretboard ,thinner neck.Neither have walnut wings and both have the same PU spacing.

Thanks for the info Ken. I prefer the look of the bass p/u next to the neck so I'll have to pass. Good luck on your auction(s)!

Paul ... I can convert it ... I currently have one extra gold bridge with the magic 2 3/8" spacing ... getting an extra tuner and a nut are no problem either ... the 4004 makes a nice 5 string ... very finger friendly ... and it will look like a factory job when it is done ...

Jeff,

Thanks...I will ask my wife tonight if she'll be OK with this. As you know I have 2 Cii/5's and it's difficult for her to understand the "need" for yet another 5 string.

Regards,

Paul

Hi Jeff,

My wonderful and understanding wife just gave the OK to buy Ken's bass. I would like to take you up on your offer to convert. I will contact you offline to work out details.

Regards,

Paul
