Jeffrey Scott, you're absolutley right. I've bought that 72 firglo that was on ebay recently & as long as she gets here ok that's what I'll be looking for.

Hey, this is my 4002nd posting! Where's my new bass, Ted? Ferris? Anyone?

Once again guys, thanks! It should be on my porch when I get home today.

And for additional grins, I found a reissue Kustom tuck and roll amp last night. It has a 400 watt head and a 2x15" cabinet. And it's done in blue sparkle. I'm going back later in the week to work out a trade.

I had one of those Kustom tuck and roll amps for years. It was my first amp. It was a silver 2X15 with the 200 head. People used to make fun of it because it looked different! Image My drummer used to call the speaker "the flotation device." Now they're quite the cool and valuable nostalgia piece. I'd like another one...or better yet two!

I had a 100 watt head, with 3 12" speakers, black.
My dad got it for me when I was 12.

This was pretty cool to see too....

The 4003FL arrived at my house today and it is sweet! It looks dead mint! Michael, you certainly took exquisite care of this bass and I'm glad to have it. The coated strings give it a real deep tone. I think I'll try to do a good portion of my home practicing with it to help develop my ear.

Cool! When I got mine I found the tone to be almost too deep, the toasters cured that.
