Ive just found this cii/5 string in trans green on a Japanese website, what do you reckon? I've only seen one trans green which was a lot darker in colour.

The same guy has changed the pick ups, not sure what they are, they look a little like the yamaha ones.

The photo is washed out. Look at the gold and blacks too. The green is much darker.

Warren, that trans blue Cii5 was bought by Alberto Cortina (Dr. Rickenstein) he posts here occasionally.

He posted some pictures of it back in April.

That trans blue finish looks awesome in person. The trans green looks pretty nice in person also, much darker than in those pics.

Thanks Joey, maybe Alberto wouldn't mind posing some more as I'd love to see it. The trans blue is growing on me fast, it seems to look alot nicer on the cii/5 than the 4.

Thanks for the heads up on this thread Warren!
I was indeed lucky enough to get that trans blue from POR. I called as soon as the two Cii/5 were offered (a trans red and a trans blue) and the trans red was already taken! So I just pulled the gun on the trans blue immediately.
One of the best desicions ever! The bass is just stunning and plays better than I thought it would. My only gripe is that the low B is just not as loud as the rest of the strings, but I'm looking forward to the redesigned pick ups Mr Hall is working on!
Here are the pics I posted back then, which doesn't really do the bass justice, but I'll take a few more this weekend to see if I can capture more of the beauty of this baby. I'll send them over as soon as I take them!

This is from POR:
