Paul, it would be nice if someone like yourself had the option of missing a confluence or two, but it's not to be.

From a historical perspective, you must attend. The other thing is, most of the guitarists dig jamming with you, so between that and your book, there's just no time for a life...

Yeah, it seems like. This will be No. 4. I humbly take credit for naming "confluences," the first being Jeff Rath, Steve Cooper, and myself, July 2004. No. 2 was Columbus (thanks JS, CP, BC, et al). No. 3 was SoCal (Santa Ana, thanks GC, JV, JG, and JH). And now No. 4 in Virginia. You guys don't have snow there in November, do you? ;^). It's just a matter of time before the Chicago guys and myself put on one, I suppose. Gotta get Ted back into the fold.

I like the name confluence.

Paul, have you been in touch with Ted? We kinda miss him here...

Yes, Ted is missed....It was great meeting him and checking out his basses in Columbus.

November 5th can't arrive soon enough!

I'm actually concerned because I know Ted dropped out of action for a while due to his wife being sick.

Don't worry Jeff.......my LK plays great but could still use a final tweaking and my s8 could use a fresh perspective on it's adjustments so if you want to work while you are at the Rickfest I'll help ya' out Image!

I certainly hope all is well in Ted's life too....

I'm torn in that I can't wait for November 5th but, at the same time, I'm no fan of winter and 11/5 means it is rapidly approaching :-( !
