God Bless This Man! Amen Brother.

Post by ken_swearingen »

Dear Pickguardian customers,

I wanted you to know that 10% of your order is being donated to the American Red Cross for their Katrina victims relief effort. I have decided to donate 10% of my sales from August 29-September 30, rather than watching the damage on TV and doing nothing.

I urge you to donate as much as possible, whether it is time, money, food, clothing or shelter. We need to show these victims that the rest of America (and the world) cares!

Thanks,
Tony Dudzik

I guess now is a good time to order a new pickguard for my '75 4001 FL.

Sean...have you asked him? Just because he doesn't have it listed on his site doesn't mean he won't do it.

I asked about having a custom thumbrest made for my LK (using pickup screw holes) out of clear acrylic bar stock and he said he'd do it if I sent him specific drawings of what I needed.....and the price was VERY reasonable. I haven't had it done yet since I am trying to decide between three different ideas I have. I may just have him make all three and go from there. Anyway, he might need yours as a template but his turnaround time is excellent.

I have no way of knowing for sure that he would do it.....I am only guessing based on my few dealings with him but call him first if you are just going by info from his site.

I make both split guards for early 4003's and a 2 pc. to 1 pc. conversion. My hurricane donation is just the right thing to do!

Thanks,
