www.pickguardian.com

My bass is actually a 1973 4001 refinished in sea green. It was the UGLY greenburst thing. I stripped the bass and sent it to Ted Staberow, and we bartered for some work. He added the checkerboard binding, refretted the neck etc.It then went to Mike Dolan for the finish. You'll see it at the confluence. The lighting is bad in that shot.

Maybe this is better:

Unfortunately, thru shipping a couple of times, the signature pickguard broke, so I decided to go plain and add the finger rest. I might take Chris Pappas' suggestion and change it to black.

Dave, Tony from Pickguardian will make you what ever you want as long as he has something to trace it from. So you could do a 4080 or whatever.

Ken , if you can find the letters for Ken ,Dave or Jeff in Mid-Atlantic Rickenbacker Confluence, it's all yours.;>)

Sorry to keep posting, but the photo above in proper lighting is courtesy of Paul Boyer.
