1000 posts...thanks to all!

Post by tony_carey »

Once upon a time, I stumbled upon a wondrous web site & forum, with exciting talk & strange people.....
11 months & 1000 posts later, I would like to thank every one of my fellow forum members for not only putting up with me, but also for teaching me more about Rickenbackers in 11 months than I learned in the 26 previous years of owning & playing them. I truly feel amongst friends here.

A big thank you to Peter, whose vision & hardwork makes this wonderful forum a reality. His leadership is to be admired for many things & his moderation of this forum is interwoven with a fairness, respect & dignity that we can all learn from.
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

Amen. Tony, you are a beacon of Fireglow when all else is dark...

Congratulations Tony. Since I'm only at "318" in three-plus years, I guess that I lurk more than I post..

Congratulations, Tony! It's true, you meet the nicest people here, particularly when you get to meet them in person.

Looking forward to the next 1000.

Congrats, Tony....

I don't know how some of you guys can do so many posts in so little time.... I've been a member here for a little over 3 years, and I'm just approaching 700--and my hubby tells me I goof off here too much, LOL! This place IS contagious, and a whole lot of Rickenfun!

Tony: I have enjoyed your posts and look forward to many more. You certainly have an art for framing things just right.

And all of us who have brushed up against your writing, admire the colorful way you conduct the 21 vs. 24 debate.
