Over in the Obscenity Forum, people are refusing to use them, just to be difficult. Others are arguing that the old obscenities were far better than the new ones. Someone is arguing that "@#!!^%$%$*" was a truly great obscenity before it dumbed itself down and allowed itself to be used by 8-year-olds. And the person who thought up "*&%$%@" is negotiating to have it used in a Volkswagen commercial.
