Thoughts on this '67 360?

Post by sloop_john_b »

I noticed that Elderly is selling this nice lookin' 360 on Gbase: http://www.gbase.com/Stores/Gear/GearDetails.aspx?Item=840610

Despite the "wrong" with it, it's a great looking guitar. Do you think the "pro" heel repair would cause any problems, playability-wise?

What about it's viability as an investment despite the repair and the refinish?

Oops, sorry, meant to say 365. Close enough I guess?

Shame about the crack in the back - but I just love the shape of that headstock! Someone buy it, before I do.....

The crack is not too hard to repair, and of course the JG makes it even easier...Hmmmm....

I fit was a 12 I'd have bought it already.

Or at least given it some damn good thought anyway.

Robert, may I introduce you to the "edit" button? It's over on the right side at the top of each message next to the printer icon.

I agree Jerry. If only I wasn't in the market for a 12...

Cheers Patrick - I find my self reaching for the V64 more often though. Kind of sharper.

With regards to the 360, it's odd but I think they look SOOO much better with 21 frets and the neck pick up where it was supposed to be. Really really nice.

Is it just me, or is that bridge mis-aligned?
