If you are going to be out of town why would you bid money on something your not even sure if you've won or lost thats not very responsible.

I on the other hand make sure that I'm able to access a computer ,check emails and answer questions if need be.
I pay[paypal] ASAP usually minutes after the auction ends,when selling I receive payment and ship ASAP[usually the same day] and provide the tracking # to my buyers ASAP,This is what i expect....Yes it does require a little hustling but come on...

I agree, If your not able to access a computer over the time when the auction ends you shouldnt have bid on the item.

I think you guys are overreacting towards the wrong end of the spectrum. You get three days to respond to an ebay auction as a seller or buyer, not one day. I would not consider a person a non-paying bidder until long after the 3 days are up. Some buyers won't communicate one word, and then you'll receive a payment 4 or 5 days after the auction ended. Give the person you have never dealt with the benifit of the doubt. Give him a lttle time, too.

Sort of a sidenote about Ebay, I've 3 times had nonpaying bidders for my auctions and I completley went through Ebay's nonpaying bidder procedure, waited the correct amount of time,and no matter how many times I contacted Ebay, I was never credited or refunded my listing fees.

I've always been reimbursed for my listing fees when I've had non-paying bidders.

I also tried that waiting 90 days to leave a negative thing, but the page stayed accessible for about another 90, so it didn't work for me.
