PROBLEMS WITH E-MAIL NOTIFICATION

Post by jingle_jangle »

My auto e-mail notification stopped working 24 hours ago. It's been tedious looking through all the categories for posts and answers...

Anybody else having this difficulty, or am I the lucky one?

Same thing here Paul. It does not work anymore.

I am in touch with my ISP who have had some sort of server issue that required outgoing email traffic to be shut down. They are doing their best to rectify the problem. I apologize for the inconvenience. This interruption of service is, of course, unacceptable. In the meantime, you can search the internet here.

Good Humo(u)r, Peter!

I do not need the Rickenbacker Forum to search the internet, though.

I need it to satisfy my soul.

This is a much bigger order.

Ha! The Alpha and the Omega. I just knew it had a beginning and an end. Now where did I put the link to the beginning?

BTW, I gave up reading books. Too many writers saying the same damn thing over and over again.

Thanks Peter, I needed to have a laugh today.

Yeah, those "ands", "ifs" and "buts" do get a bit tedious.

"I need it to satisfy my soul."

Uh, Paul? I hope you were kidding on that one.... This site is a great place, and can satisfy lots of things: friendship, carmeraderie, information, gorgeous pictures, and a wealth of knowledge about the best guitars in the world....

But nothing in this WORLD will truly satisfy your SOUL....

Speaking entirely metaphorically, Melissa.

Creative license, OK?

Right.... As a worship leader I'm real sensitive to stuff like that, and for me there is a very fine line between my love of Rickenbackers and idolatry, LOL! Image

But I sure do hope the email thingie gets fixed soon!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to give a shout that I've been updating an old friend's website. You might know her through the John Lennon legacy.

WHEW! It seems to be working again....

Aitch, I can totally relate--I am technologically incompetent when it comes to computers--they are just the tools that take me where I want to go!
