No Jeff.
Your basses ARE cool...
But this BG... sigh... Why a punk would even think about using a rick? To do power chords on it??? But still.... it might be easier to pan'handle on a street with a Rick... well... I mean... I would give spare change to anybody with a Rick

Yes, I played one... and I know!
Altough it doesn't justify to treat a ric like that, it's a fact that punk(rock)ers use ric's a lot. And yes it's fun to play powerchords on a ric LOL.
But he, I'm a big Mötorhead fan anyway - so plays don't flame me.......

Beside owning 14 guitars and basses and my own homestudio, what do I want more?

Pretty big difference between putting gaudy stickers on your guitar and putting on a gaudy finish!
(JK)
Jeff, your basses took talent and skill to make that way. That 4001 took the dexterity of a chimp to put those stickers on.

I was in a punk band from '78-'82, after the first year I graduated from a P bass to a 4001. They were popular with punk bassists. I never put stickers on mine tho', I was way too proud of it. I was very careful with it, the Fender came into a bit of abuse tho'. OK, a LOT of abuse. Hey, I was 20.
And I'm afraid Jeff's stripey bass reminds me of Van Halen who I have always hated.
