This one appears to be a neck through. There is no step at the heel and body joint.

All the 4003S are neck through. The 70's-80's 4001S were set neck. I think that pre-73 or so the S models were neck through but I'm not sure.

It can easily be transformed to a "poor man's Blackstar" with some black hardware and plastics.

This bass was on Ebay 2 times in the past few weeks with an initial amount of $1075. No one bid either time.
