Buy a gun.....here kitty......

Then go to a big pet supply store. They have products which are designed to remove the odor and may do a better job than grocery store stuff.

Cats are quite jealous of anything that gets more attention than they do...

Buy a new case and bury the cat in the old one.

Apart from shooting the cat !!!

Buy a box of Baking Soda and sprinkle the contents over the area of the stain, close the lid and leave a day or so.

Vacuum up the Baking Soda, following that take a damp sponge with some plain water, and gently wash with plain water. Leave lid open to dry, then repeat the Baking Soda treatment.

I hate to say it but it may be a lost cause as far as the smell. My cat peed in my flight kit (which I stupidly left open in the closet). I tried everything to get the smell out and ended up throwing out half of the stuff. The flight computer and intercom were too corroded to save. Unfortunately, both headsets got it too and those were just too valuable to toss. There's traces of that cat every time I fly now.

the other day I was thinking about getting a dog so I took a chain saw to my shoes and my furniture and then I urinated, deficated, and vomited on my rug ...

Now I remember why I don't have pets ...

Jeff... The case is ALWAYS closed...

It just happened that a split second is all that it takes... I took my bass, turned on my amp, plugged it, grabbed a pick, turn around to close the case and there it was...

It was like Peeing with premeditation or something...

Meguiar's makes a scent remover for automotive upholstery. Oddly enough it actually looks like urine in the bottle! The guy I work with who does auto detailing says it works fairly well for stuff like that.

Karl,

I have it on good authority that white vinegar will certainly help the situation.
