Who has $25,000?

Post by lowendbob »

Just saw this over at the Dudepit.
Is this the same one that was on EBay a few months ago? I believe it's the one some women had in Colorado.

This one sold for $13,100. I bid $12,800. Some guy sold it for a friend whose mother played it 40 year ago.

It's owned by Craig Brody (The Guitar Broker). Says he was offered $20,000 for it immediately after he bought it.

This one should have been yours, Brian!

He should have taken the offer. Since he paid a ton for it in the first place, $20K for that bass would have been a sale on a grand scheme.

Man...and the conventional wisdom is: nobody's made any money in the last twenty years in Colorado except in Real Estate.

Wait'll I tell the whole gang about this bass!
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

Mike, for $25,000 I'm not so sure. But don't think I haven't picked up the phone a few times! What happened to the other 4000 you had mentioned (a 61)? Has their been any movement on that bass?
