'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

Actually mine was probably that sick color. It was called wineburst I think. It was a sort of green figured wood in the center with grape purple on the edges.
You could I guess call it a sixties color. When I first got it. Kustom said it was a maple body and neck. Later when I saw it all beat up at the drummer house it looked white underneath.
But I found later that it was it was sanding sealer used under lacquer paint. I have seen two nice Maple dare I say Mapleglo ones LOL..
