A new and proud Tuxedo owner

Post by martyr »

On monday I will be sending a deposit to Mike Parks for a March of '87 4003 Tuxedo! He'll be holding onto it for me until my relocation bonus from work comes in. I'm really getting excited!

Thanks, and sorry about the bad links. The coding on these forums is still foreign to me.

Yeah! Damned fine bass, Jon - a real beauty

I asked Mike about this a few months ago - this close to getting it... figured a standard 4003S would be more my cuppa' tea.

Great to see it's gone to a Forum home. :P

Oh Dave, you can be so tacky and tasteless. (but I would love to know the price as well!)

That Tux looks really lovely.

The price he gave me was $1495, I've wanted a Tux ever since I saw one for sale on eekbay a couple years back. Since I'll be coming into some money soon and have been GAS'n for a new beast I figured I give this a shot. I was also looking at the '73 Burg 4001 but I believe he's going to try and sell that on eekbay.

Thanks for the comments, I'll definitely have some more pictures once I have it.

I was thinking about calling him to ask about the 4003s8 FireGlo that he's expecting.....I'd sell my JGs8 and probably end up about even.

That's a good price for the Tux......mine sold on ebay for around that a year ago and it was near mint.
