UK Sextet Stars in Movie
I started out this post thinking that sextets were relatively rare. Certainly the responses here are an eye-opener in a number of respects.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Roy: While some of this groups' songs were penned by a Graham, it was not Gouldman. The Garden Odyssey Enterprise is not the group. The Psychedelic scene is it though.

Sounds Incorporated were a sextet but offhand I cannot think of any movies they had a part in. Perhaps they did a soundtrack. They did lots of work as session men and backing up Epsteins' stable of singers on tour. They were on Decca also as far as I know.
So this is just another sextet to add to your list Peter, at the end of the day

Sounds Incorporated, The World Of Oz and Ten Years After are most interesting answers but miss the mark. To add, this group would collaborate with Quincy Jones in a film soundtrack before their cameo movie performance. Beneath the big releases yes, but collectable all the same.

The Graham Bond Organization for a period of time were a sextet and they had an appearance in a weird film called “Beats are Gonk”. I have no idea what label they were on.

Brian: You are very close to the truth here. Let's just say that there was an affiliation with Bond, and not James Bond.

As Peter Sellers would say "Not bad for a Shot In the Dark" Stan, but not what I am thinking.

Well done Stan. Can't say as I know the band myself, so I would never have guessed this one.
