Rick bridge with flat head screws

When did Rickenbacker start using the new style bridge with spring loaded allen screws.Just curious.My 83 620 has the older style bridge with flathead screws.

Odd. My '81 320 has Allen head screws with "O" rings (apparently as an anti-rattle, thread locking feature).

Oops,I made a mistake the screws on the bottom look like some kind of Allen screw.The flatheads are on the top.My mistake.

Those pictured are round head. The socket head (Allen) screws used for intonation are "button head screws".

There are no flat head, nor "button head" screws anywhere on the bridge in your photos, Mitch. The screws used to adjust the saddles are called "round head slotted machine screws". The four screws used to adjust bridge height are called "miniature standard Allen socket head cap screws".

This is a standard Allen socket head cap screw

This is a flat head machine screw, with Phillips slotting. They also come with a straight slot.

This is a round head machine screw, with Phillips slotting. They also come with a straight slot.

This is a flat head Allen screw
