Stolen 650D in NW PA very distinct

Post by billikenn »

Title should say 650 Dakota, I was deep in my studies when my cousin called and told me. Now im too bummed to finish

Well guys I cant think of much else to do. Already watchin ebay/guitar/pwan shops, so Ill let you know as well...

My little cousin has been borrowing my guitar to play with his church, and someone swiped it from his backseat in the church parking lot about a week ago. It was in the New Castle/Pittsburgh Pennslyvenia area.

Description:
Im sure a good number of you remember my ED ROMAN special Van CAmpren fieasco. Thats the guitar.
The neck has been thinned and the heel removed. (dont let ed do this to your guitar)
The bridge has been replaced with a Fender-esq piece with Graphtech FAAS Piezo saddles (now called Ghost) http://www.graphtech.com/prodghost.htm
The frets are not origonal
the switch plate has 2 (maybe 3) extra switches and 1 extra stacked dualpot that controls piezo tone/volume
and it has the vintage style case.

After I had Ed's shoddy work fixed and the neck stabilized by a real professional, the guitar turned out to be an awesome player and very versitile - especially for church groups... Although quite expensive!

If you catch wind of it please let me know

Do you have a pic?

Edit: I see now it's a D not a C. I hope you find it. Not even church is safe any more. What a drag.

Sorry, my mind is swimming, it is actually a Dakota bones. So it has the oil finish. Walnut/Maple combo

I will post pics as soon as I find some...

Sorry about your loss , Josh...that is quite a bummer....

I work in Chambersburg Pa. and I check the pawn shops and guitar shops around here so I'll keep an eye open for it and let you know if I get any leads...

Rotten news, Josh! I hope the b*****d gets nailed and you get your Rick back!! If not, the return of your guitar would be a great second prize. Best of luck!
