Check out the quilting on this beauty!

I've been looking for a 330 to put a bigsby on & I didn't fancy putting it on the two I have. They're both FG, so I thought I would consider another colour....my 2nd favourite, mapleglo. Anyway, I saw Mike Smith today from Rics R Us & he pulled this one from the case....what a stunner! Needless to say, the deal was done & I took it home with me. It is a 2003 model, but in near mint condition. Thanks Mike! (a real gent & a pleasure to do business with)

It will get a third pickup, vintage knobs & a VB...but which one? Do I put the bigsby on it?

Wow, Tony, what a great find! You don't often see a 330 with figuiring like that! The Bigsby would look really cool. Congrats.....

Gorgeous, Tony!!!

That grain is nonpareil. Spectacular.

My 330 has some nice flaming. It's completely symmetrical too. very pretty.

Unfortunately, it's on the BACK side of the guitar - the front is fairly plain.

That one. . . surprising it didn;t become a 381. Wonderful.

I actually like them plain-looking with none of that. Am I in the minority?

I am not a big fan of MG but that is a beauty. I can see why you bought it. I would be tempted too.

Good point Jerry....not sure. I'd like too, but I also have an accent that I could put on it. I'd prefer the bigsby on it...after all, although it is quite unusual for a 330, it IS only a 330 & is never likely to be worth a fortune, even when it's vintage! So I might as well make it a regular player.....what do you think?

Well, the wood is more beautiful than most. I'm curious as to why you don't want to add the Bigsby to your FG's?

My 1980 FG is a great gtr, but the older hi-gain sound means that although it is played regularly, it is not a work a day gtr. My '97 FG is my regular 'just as I like it' gtr, so I wouldn't want to change that one. I am hoping that the bigsby will be a little more 'reliable' than the accent & as such, would want it on a main player.
