MC Cartney at MSG Saturday Night

Some shots from Saturday night…

I have to say this is one of the best McCartney shows that I’ve seen and I’ve seen every tour back to Wings Over America (a young lad back then) including a private show for the making of Upclose with approximately 250 guests.

The man had a ton of energy and was the most relaxed I’ve ever seen him. The band was tight and sounded great – definitely looked like they were having fun up there.

After the second round of encores, McCartney stayed out after the band left the stage and was signing autographs – seemed like he didn’t want to leave the stage.

It was a great night. A clear highlight for me was Too Many People – they nailed it!

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday night in NYC!

Wish I would have gotten tickets for another night…

Great pictures Andy.
Are these taken with your camera?

Nice pics. They brought back memories from last week. Did he do "Live and Let Die"?

My friend was at the first of the two Boston shows, he said they had metal detectors at the entrance.
He was glad he didn't bring his camera, or a tape recorder...

Yeah, right at the start before they let us through the turnstiles a woman gave us the lecture about the cameras. I think I could have sneaked one in. The dude next to me was relaying the entire concert through his cell phone.

By the by, my wife pointed out something after she saw the pics above. She noticed that he had the same shirt on at MSG that he worn a week ago in Boston. I told her he's either got a hundred of them or he could just be a bum.

Tell me this; did he have ratty old blue jeans on with no belt and Beatle boots?

He had the same shirt on at Philly too.
I sure hope he has more than just one.
I think it was right before the first encore he changed into a red mine field t-shirt.

Camera's could have easily been bought into the Philly shows.
I will try to take one into the Vegas show. If I can't get it in, I'll just take it back to my room at the MGM.
Buy it before someone else does.

He also wore that shirt last night at MSG.

Incredible show, lots of fun. First time I saw him, and i'd go back tonight if I could.
