Black to White type burst. And a black Pickguard with white binding around it. Checkered or white binding. Triangle inlays. Charcoal hardware (like on my aerodyne). That would be awesome!

Orangeglo would be kool with gold hardware... At least it seemed that way in my head... Maybe different in person.

Or grey to darker grey burst. I coulda sworn that I'd seen Ricks that way back before I grew interested in them. Mighta been b&w picks of FG maybe.

I believe that JH said that he once painted a friend's bicycle frame Fire-glo. I'm not kidding.

Well.... I thought that most votes were for a dark FG? Whatever it is IMO it looks very fine.

At the risk of providing a distraction from this free wheeling thread, Bass Northwest is peddling a 4003 BBR:

I'm sure Blue Burst looks much better in person, but in photos it looks like blue water color. I'd rather see a a straight trans blue finish like on the 4004's.

They all look much better in person. I still think about Erik Kutzler trans blue 4004Cii...and I do not usually like blue guitars, but that one was beautiful.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I remember his bass from the confluence. I never did take the oportunity to play it..to just hold it. The things we regret...
