21 fretter came in and

Its a cosmetic mess, needs re plating, rewiring, re finishing,but no neck problems,was a fireglo, has grovers not wavy ,pickguard is original but painted black,trc is in good shape[white original]the nuts been replaced,not sure if I can do fireglo myself.all in all it will be nice when I'm done.And yes its real seial JK XXX.

Ive started stripping it already,he painted right over nice fireglo??

That little block looks like its made of Herring bone or something weird??

The 21 fret inlay can only have been put there by a previous owner, period.
Now, welcome to the '21 fret 4001 club', Ken! 'JK', eh? Can you tell us the serial number? My November '70 Fireglo 21 fretter is JK 340. And it is one hell of a player, just like my August '70 21 fretter.

Sergio, that is a lovely example. Grant's is always good to see too..
Ken....work ahead! Are you going to keep it a Fireglo or take it back to MG....

JK was the serial number of the bass that I nearly bought back in 2002. That serial number is only a few from Sergio's...
