Advice? New 330 FG or MG ????

Post by gjg59 »

I got the green light for a new Ric. I have a FG 360/6. I played a MG is Sam Ash the other day and it felt awesome. I really dig the FG color though. Any thoughts. I am cleared for about $1200ish. (USAF retirement gift from my wife)I can get one new from MF for $999 or Sam Ash for $950 out the door.

Mitch has a 330/12 on ebay now unless it's sold. Beauty of an FG!

I drove to Pick of the Rics today. Chris is a great guy. I bought a Mint 1998 MG 330/6 with Toasters. Very nice guitar, looks brand new. Chris even changed the strings for me to Ric 10's. I could have bought a new 330/6 MG for the same price, but I gotta believe the Toasters at least even the value.

He had no 330 FG and I confirmed the brand new FG's are coming through lighter. I am certainley open to a mid 90's 330. Maybe I will need the 330/12 FG.

I now have a FG 360/6 and the MG 330/6. thaks for the inputs

Given that you already have a Fireglo, Mapleglo is an excellent choice, Gerry. Are we going to see some pics? I'd like to see the flame on the 330/6.

Congratulations!!
